Biography Steffi Husslein
Steffi Husslein is a professor and head of MA Program of Interaction Design at the Institute Industrial Design at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg- Stendal, Germany. Her research focuses on the design of user interfaces with an interest in behaviour design, information design and architecture in combination with soft- and hardware. She focuses on physical and tangible interaction, internet of things, mobile design patterns and image schemata for industrial products and user interfaces. Before her current job, she was deputy prof. at the University of Applied Sciences in Dessau at the Bauhaus, researcher for Interface Design at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, and she was a visiting professor at various schools abroad. She worked for meta design, bvm and icon. She obtained her PHD at the University of Technology of Berlin, ZMMS. More info can be found at her website.
